Speaking of blowing a lead to Baltimore... well, it wasn't really a lead - but after Shelly Duncan hits a dramatic game-tying 3-run HR with two outs on a full count in the the bottom of the ninth... all-everything closer Mariano Rivera surrenders a 3-run HR to Aubrey Huff the very next half-inning. So yes, the Orioles came into Yankee Stadium - and save a ninth-inning rally in Game 1, almost sweep the red-hot Yankees.

Before they went to Cleveland, a Yankee friend of mine assured me the Yankees would be going 15-5 in the next 20 games (against the likes of Cleveland, Baltimore, Detroit, Boston and Anaheim... including a sweep of Anaheim, according to him). They are off to a 4-2 start... and now must go 11-3 against division leaders Detroit, Boston and Anaheim to meet his prediction.

Good luck with that.

That was hilarious, and while I understand the need not to encourage people to run onto the track, as Jakes points out, Kenseth wasn't actually that busy, just shooting the bull with Greg Biffle on the radio. It was also funny watching the portly security staff amble after him at a snail's pace. I don't think it was really necessary to arrest him though; it's not like he stole the pace car or anything...

They had it on the jumbotron at the track, and the commentator relayed Kenseth's comment, which was admittedly pretty funny.

Trouble is that he actually wasn't busy at the time, since it was during a freaking painful half-hour red flag stop.

Anyone see the 'neck come onto the track during the red-flag to try to get Kenseth to sign his hat? Stuck his head right in the car. Kenseth told him that he was "a little busy right now." Priceless.

I was about 100 yards away from Gordon's car when that happened, and yeah, it was good times.

Not as good of times as Kevin Harvick and Juan Pablo Montoya almost coming to blows in just about the same spot, but good times nonetheless.

The crowds reaction to to the Harvick/Montoya situation was interesting as well. Let's just say they weren't exactly pro the...um...Mexican guy (and yes, I realize he's from Colombia - let's just say many in the crowd did not).

I don't know about the other stuff you're talking about there.
