Boston Goes Down On New York’s Wang, Again
April 17th, 2008 by Tank
Heh. Penis joke. Sorry, I just can’t help myself. I mean, the Red Sox would be alone in first place if they didn’t fall to their knees every time they catch a glimpse of the Yanks’ Wang.

Red Sox: 10-7
Orioles: 9-7, 0.5 GB
Yankees: 9-8, 1 GB
Toronto: 8-8, 1.5 GB
Tampa Bay: 7-9, 2.5 GB
Um, the Red Sox are in first place.
Also, feel free to revel in Wang’s performance if you’d like: 4 IP, 9H, 8R/8ER, 3BB, 2K. Wang pitched great last Friday, but Wednesday night? Um… not so much. The Yankees can feel free to flash that Wang as often as they’d like - and if the Red Sox could ever assemble a minor league bullpen (much less a major league bullpen), they might actually win a game where they score eight runs off the opponent’s starting pitcher.
Also, dude… your behind the Orioles in the standings. Yeah, I understand its really early, but… its the Orioles. Mercy.
