Plaxico Burress made the mistake of publicly voicing confidence in himself and his fellow WRs - and that automatically became a "huge dis" against Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Donte Stallworth, Tom Brady, and.... I guess every Patriot past, present, and future. Is that better? Of course they're going to glom onto Brady since (a) he just had the season he had, (b) he's dating who he's dating, (c) his coach is about as forthcoming on injuries as the Black Knight in the Holy Grail ("its just a flesh wound!"), so that leaves every (possible) injury open to complete conjecture from a ravenous and oversized media in week one of what is two weeks worth of stories that need to be written. Try this: Ignore it. Its about the only remedy.
