I don't think there is much argument over the lineup now that Braun has moved to the outfield. Had he stayed at 3rd... it would have been a very interesting discussion. As for the pitching, Gonzo, you clearly overrate the Mets staff and bench. You would really want Gotay, and Endy Chavez on this team. As mentioned in my RedSox post, Joe Dillon would have to make the team, and I would take Gross or Gwynn over Endy Chavez. His 2006 fluke will never be repeated, and he will return to his typical .250/.290/.320 line. Gotay has no speed, power or defensive ability. Not sure what his value would be. Gabe Kapler isn't making the Brewers much less this team. My 12 man pitching staff would be: Rotation: Santana Gallardo Sheets Pedro Maine Bullpen: Riske Parra Villanueva Turnbow Heilman Feliciano Wagner Sanchez isn't healthy and won't be 100% again in his life. Smith walks too many guys and is more of a ROOGY for me. I don't trust right handed side arm pitchers. They don't have long careers, and get lit up by lefties.
