Defending champ skipping this year’s Dubai Tennis Championships due to refusal to permit an Israeli player. Shame on the rest of the field for participating. Let the UAE decide which they cherish more - the fruits of civilization, or their anti-semitism.

    I’m naive… but I truly don’t get that. Seriously… I just don’t get it. I mean… I’m trying to rationalize it in my mind (”Um… do they view Israelis as terrorists somehow?”), but I can’t. Trying to reason with people like that seems to me to be much like trying to reason with 4-month-old Kaeden when he’s bawling his eyes out… it’s just not gonna happen, so stick a bottle in their mouths and go back to watching “SportsCenter”.
