Commish - Mitchell Report

It is unfortunate, but the team that is going to suffer the most due to the Mitchell Report is the Milwaukee Brewers. Because of the Commissioner’s past ownership of the Brewers, I believe he will have to show that he is impartial. i don’t think he has any choice but to suspend Eric Gagne. Let’s start off by saying that Gagne was an idiot for having steroids sent directly to the Dodgers clubhouse. I mean his actions make it clear that these players believed they were above the law when it came to steroid use. Selig has no choice but to suspend Gagne, who despite his failure in Boston, will be the most notable of all the punishments that are levied due to his report

Suspending Eric Gagne will be the *best* thing that could happen to the Brewers. I have no idea how or why he got $10 million dollars, especially from a team that as much as any has to watch its financial abacus… but you do not want Eric Gagne pitching for your team unless they have a double-digit lead *and* you have someone else in the bullpen to come in quickly if/when Gagne starts to blow even that.
Maybe its age, maybe its cuz he’s no longer on the juice… maybe its both - but NL Cy Young Eric Gagne is not walking through that door, fans.
