I have no idea how or why he got $10 million dollars, especially from a team that as much as any has to watch its financial abacus... but you do not want Eric Gagne pitching for your team unless they have a double-digit lead *and* you have someone else in the bullpen to come in quickly if/when Gagne starts to blow even that. Maybe its age, maybe its cuz he's no longer on the juice... maybe its both - but NL Cy Young Eric Gagne is not walking through that door, fans.
