First Place Crew
So I was thinking… How would it be possible for the Brewer’s to end the month with the best record in the National League???? Then it occurred to me, maybe the Mets would call up CHP to pitch the final game of the month. So, I am watching the Crew destroy St. Louis (on National TV in HD no less), and ESPN cuts to a highlight of Hanley Ramirez hitting a very long home run off of an 88 mph straight fastball that came across the middle of the plate waist high… and there he is, straining his neck to get a good look at the missile that resulted in his 7th earned run in less than 4 innings… the one the only Chan Ho Park….MUHAHAHAHA

The only thing better will be when the Mets trade him to the Yankees for a bucket of balls. Now that the Yankees AAA pitchers on the DL, it’s a choice between AA guys and veteran hasbeens to fill the rotation.
Nice $185 million team, Tank… if this were softball.

Well, I was waiting for a Danny post on the Brewers; then he gets to combine it with a CHP reference - happy day for Danny….
Thankfully, the CHP experiment is over after 1 start - fortunately Mets have more depth then they did last year. Sosa, Vargas or Humber - come on down, your the next contestant!

Have they released Park yet - so the Yankees can pick him up? Course my luck, he’ll pull an Al Leiter and pitch lights out in his first outing (against Boston) before remembering that he’s washed up.

Seriously, Gonzo, you ignorant slut. Is it your or you’re ? Sure, call me the grammar pinko, but g’damn, that’s what Ivy League gets you?
To answer your next question, No, I have nothing to say about the Crew being in first place. It’s much like Tank’s assurances that there was, in fact, no post-season baseball played in 2004.
What? Me? Fail English? That’s Unpossible!

Not sure how many of you watch American Idol (or more to the point, how many of you will admit to watching American Idol) - but did you see the Simpsons thing they did where Simon was the contestant on stage, and Marge, Lisa, and Homer were the judges? Lisa was the Paula Abdul idiot, standing and bopping and making a total ass of herself. Marge was Randy - and Homer was freakin’ classic as the Simon judge… slouched down in his chair, making comments like, “Horrible… horrible… to begin with, you’ve got to ditch the phony accent.”
When is “The Simpsons” movie coming out anyway?
