Shouldn’t the NY Times be paying us or something?

From the New York Times today: Suzuki Is Nearing Milestones at an Unprecedented Pace.
From the Oscar Gamble Society on February 1: Milestones Ichiro Will Reach in 2008.

Two thoughts on that:
1. Screw them, we’ll just get a book deal: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/30/fashion/30web.html
2. OMFG, we’re going to die: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/06/technology/06sweat.html
Oh, and btw, hadn’t seen the “Ty Cobb w/o the sociopathic traits” Ichiro bit in the comments. Very nice.

Nah, we won’t die… we’re apathetic enough to prevent any sort of long-term exposure to the effects cited in the NY Times article. Just look at the posts, none of us is killing ourselves to post daily rantings, ensuring we’re 100% current for the $6/yr in ad revenues we generate. Torpidity as a life-saving approach to daily living… imagine that.
