*The* Orr picture… autographed
So I agreed to go with Lori to a “Jack & Jill” Saturday night (since we haven’t gone out since Kaeden joined us four months ago). Doing my part to support the young couple in these troubled financial times, I bought some raffle tickets on my way in. To my delight, one of the raffle prizes was an autographed picture of Bobby Orr in midflight against the Blues… yeah, *that* picture. (Here’s where I offer the ubiquitous disclaimer: Ya know, I never win these things.) Well… I won the darn thing.
Now… the cynic in me might speculate that the autograph is faked… but I was too overjoyed to be pessimistic. Maybe another time. Instead, I simply raced home and hung it proudly down in the Man Cave amongst other prized possessions like the Garden and Fenway chairs, and the autographed playing card of (and picture of me with) Mosi Tatupu.
It is well.

That is fan-freakin’-tastic.
Let us know when the HD screen arrives, and we’ll be over to properly indoctrinate said man-cave…

Nice. How does Cody enjoy the man cave? Is it to early to introduce Kaeden to the man cave? Strike that, its never too early.

No, no… never too early. It’s too early for Kaeden to fully appreciate it - but never too early to introduce him.
As for Cody’s appreciation, I’ll leave you with this: When the Fenway chairs arrived, he not only helped me open them - but was as excited as I was in the process. Then… as the lightbulb flashed over his head, he insisted, “Hey, Mike… we *really* need to get a big screen, flat screen TV for the basement now. That way, we can pull out the Fenway chairs to watch the Red Sox… as if we’re right there! And we can pull out the Garden chairs to watch the Celtics and Bruins… as if we’re right there!”
Good… good answer. I like the way he thinks.

Indeed. I say we give him a bid.
