Yup… blind squirrel… occasional nut… you know the rest.
But for the Yankees, that’s got to be a crushing blow. I mean… if Ortiz hits the grand slam as Burnett blows a 6-run lead, that’s one thing - but Varitek? That’s pathetic.
Varitek’s hitting is like Judge Smail’s golfing… he’s… uh… he’s… not good.
