She’s the worst. Just the worst. And to think she’s a masshole.
You’ve all heard the clip of the orgasm she had on air when Clemens made his ‘I’m back’ appearance at The Stadium this summer, right? [shudder]

I didn’t see it myself, but heard secondhand about a reporter who was on-site with her during the 1989 WS marred by the earthquake. He was a bit surprised that experience was less dramatic than Roger Clemens coming to the Yankees in late May for $28 million. I have to say… um… so am I - although I wasn’t physically present for either, which I can only guess makes all the difference in the world… or something.

I think this is great. Home team announcers that are true fans of the team bring the highest level of unintentional comedy to the position. I am certain I have spoke the virtues of Ron Santo in this forum, but if not, he is the epitome of homerism. It is similar to sitting next to a guy who is wasted and thinks he knows what he is talking about, but 1) has no clue 2) makes inappropriate comments on a regular basis and 3) breaks out the “Oh, Jeez” when the Cubs screw up…. Very nice…
That obviously is different that actually crying because the long-time manager has so much left to give, yet will be doing it somewhere else for millions of dollars… I feel just awful for Joe Torre.
